Marine 2nd Recon Battalion, BDU:
God Loves Marines because he knows they embrace the suck! They expect it to suck, and if it’s got to suck, it may as well suck completely! and you will be with disciplined Marines being sent into the suck, there is trouble somewhere, and it is going to suck real fine. Recon and Scout Snipers in the Corps are legendary, and these important units have come and gone several times due to budget, but as the Marines are considered an elite as a whole, they don’t look at their specialist, as better than the others, rather another element of the corp, like artillery, and amphibious operations. Thats why you don’t see unit patches on their sleeves, but they have been made and appear from time to time for some reason or another before they dis-appear again. This sleeve insignia is a rare item. Marines are their identity, they’ are a part of the whole, they tend to look down actually at identification as individual, but it happens, seen in places, and I suppose photo-events, but there pretty rare, here we depict the unit, the Marines making up the battalion at the time.
