My Non-Military Figures

“NEW” The Aviatrix (Amelia Earhart):

“The Bride”

This is pretty newly finished, got 1/2 way and was stuck for a long time. Then I banged it out-it was a blood or no blood decision, but this is more like what Uma Thurman looks like in the movie. I was a Large Resin Kit and must have broken the sword off 5 times! So there you go. I’m still teaching myself how these kits go together, and a good airbrusher can do amazing things with a kit like this, Unfortunately, that’s not me. funny when you realize I’ve had several compressors and airbrushes now! and use them mostly for large-area painting, camouflage, and the like! I’ll get some pictures of the other stuff I’ve done- some got a little out of hand, and may not be particularly right for immature kids.

Here are some of the big-scale (1/6 & 1/9) Female Figures We’ve built:

Note: This may not be appropriate for your kids. Long ago, when I was still dating my to-be wife, I tried to get her into the model mode, really hard, like. She did build several, both Armo kits and female figures, out of resin or other media, but it took a long time to prep them; the building can be quick, but doing the putty and sanding lost her interest. So I did it, and then she painted, has some artistic ability alright, and now I still paint them, the box art is always better, like the armor kit, but I enjoy it, and stay busy. The Figures are a mix of media materials, some stock builds, others modified. I’m not a big Figure maker, or collector, nor is it my forte, but I have a bunch of kits to make or sell one day now! Who they are or represent- your guess is as good as mine.
